Similar to Lisette Models „Reflections, NYS, Rockefeller Center” from the early 1940s, or to Ernst Haas’ “Reflection – 42nd Street, NY” 1952, Poljak combines two pictorial elements, that normally cannot be perceived without the reflection of the window, carefully designed by the specifically selected position of the photographer.
Jutta Strohmeyer creates a similar result by superimposing of two image projections.
