General conditions for the use of the online database of the SpallArt collection.

The SpallArt collection points out to the user of the online offer that he uses this offer at his own risk.

4.1 Information about collection of personal data

4.1.1 Hereinafter we inform you about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data are all data which can be related to your person, e.g. name, address, e-mail address, user conduct.

4.1.2 In accordance with EU General Data Protection Regulation (GPDR), article 4, para. 7, party responsible is Sammlung SpallArt, Jakob-Auer-Straße 8, 5020 Salzburg, Austria, (see imprint).

4.1.3  If you contact us via e-mail, data provided (i.e. your e-mail address and, if applicable, name, address and phone no.) will be stored to communicate with you. Data will be deleted when storage is no longer necessary. In case we are obliged by law to store data, processing will be restricted.

4.1.4 Should certain functions of our website require the services of third party service providers, we inform you about the respective processes in detail. We also inform you about given criteria regarding length of storage.

4.2 Your rights

4.2.1 You have the following rights regarding your personal data

4.3 Collection of personal data when visiting our website

4.3.1 Informational use of website
If you use our website for informational purposes only, without registering or otherwise transferring data/information to us, we only collect data transferred to our server by your web browser. In addition to above-mentioned data, cookies will be stored on your device when using our website. b) Transient cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser. So-called session cookies are transient cookies which store a session ID , allowing several requests of your browser to be related to a common session. 4.3.4 Registration and user account
Should you decide to open a user account and utilize the full functionality of our website, data provided by you (first name, second name and e-mail address) will be stored by us and linked to a unique user ID. If necessary these data may be related to other personal data such as IP address. In accordance with the Data Protection Act all your data will be treated as strictly confidential. Data will not be passed on to third parties unless there is a judicial necessity to protect the rights and property of the SpallArt Collection or the interests of other users.
After registration you can update your personal data and manage subscription to our newsletter in your account settings. Should you wish to delete your account and all data linked to it, please e-mail us at or send a message to our address as shown in the imprint.

4.3.5 Privacy statement for the use of Google Analytics
This website utilizes "Universal Analytics" of Google Analytics, a web analyzing service of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). This operating mode allows Google to relate data sessions and interactions to a pseudonymized user ID and analyze user activity on different devices.
Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files placed on your computer to allow for analysis of your use of our website. Information generated by cookies will be transferred to and stored at a Google server in the USA. IP addresses from within the European Union or from member states of the European Economic Area (EEA) are shortened before transfer to a Google server in the USA. 4.4.1 With your consent, you can be subscribed to our newsletter, which will keep you informed about interesting news regarding the SpallArt Collection.
4.4.2 For your subscription to our newsletter we employ the so-called double-opt-in method. This means that after your initial registration, we will send an e-mail to the provided address in which you will be asked to confirm your wish to subscribe. Should you not confirm your subscription, you will not receive any further e-mails from us. This method aims to verify your subscription and prevent abuse.
4.4.3 At any time, you can revoke your consent to receive our newsletter. To do so, you can click the link provided in each newsletter, change your account settings on our website or e-mail us at
4.4.4 Our newsletters are sent through the third-party provider "MailChimp". Accordingly, the data provided by you (e-mail address, first name and second name) will be transmitted to MailChimp. Your data will still solely be managed by us and not viewed by a third-party.
4.4.5 We advise you that we evaluate your behavior when it comes to interacting with the newsletter. For this evaluation, newsletter e-mails contain so-called web-beacons or tracking-pixels. These are single pixel image files stored either on our website or at MailChimp. For this evaluation, we may connect the data mentioned in 4.4.4 and the web-beacons with your e-mail address and a unique ID. This data is used to create a user profile to allow us to tailor the newsletter to your individual interests. In this process we determine when you read our newsletter, which of the links contained therein you follow and deduce your personal interests.
