By screnning page 129 of the auction catalogue of the Vialla Grisebach (Lot 1219 Lewis Hine "Fishing Tower on Empire State Building" um 1931 und Lot 1220 Martha Hoepffner "Fantasia" 1939), this ‘double’ image results when seeing through. The impression of a multiple exposure is created whereby the conception of the artist and chance coincide.
