Very interesting example for the widespread opinion – that is only party true – Pictorialism is mainly imitation of the art of painting. Here this is confirmed in one aspec: the artist, with the help of a brush, creates pictorial effects in the still moist picture, that can clearly be seen in the rocks. Joseph B. Kahill is also known more as a painter than a photographer.
