Comment
A shot of the horizon, trees in the light of the setting sun, a flaming inferno on the horizon? The supposed horizon is a picture taken without a camera. Hans Wetzelsdorfer experiments with the classic 35mm film. He pulls the analog, light-sensitive film a small piece out of the cartridge and the piece thus freed is exposed. The outlet of the cartridge is sealed with felt, creating blurred edges at the border of unexposed film.
The dramatic horizon thus forms the border between everything and nothing, between too much light and no light.
