As part of the lecture on the history, theory, and practice of photography by Univ.-Prof. Dr. Matthias Weiß, Head of the Department of Art History, Christoph Fuchs was a guest at the University of Salzburg on January 15, 2026.
In addition to providing general information about the collection and an overview of its origins, Fuchs, who has been working for the SpallArt collection for many years, highlighted the differences between collecting activities at public institutions and, above all, provided insights into the collection's main areas of focus. Exceptional areas of focus within the collection, such as generative photography, aroused particular interest.
