Child abuse is happening everywhere regardless of age, religion, tradition, nation or culture – and Turkey is no exception, with its cultural heritage even aggravating the situation.
Thousands of young girls raped and afterwards forced into marriage with their heinous perpetrators are often committing suicide.
The majority of abused and raped children in 21st century male-dominated Turkey feel guilty for this kind of aggression, thus keeping silent and accepting their faith while being refused by relatives for having stained their family’s honor.
The ones who do not feel responsible towards the victims in this situation are committing a heinous crime.
Dont’t you join the crime by keeping quiet – there is no reason to stay silent!
