Like in the image pair „Moon and Halfdome” by Ansel Adams (collection Simak 0253) and Jeff Nixon (S_0231), Nixon’s picture here again is a reflex on Adam’s photo.
Similar to Adams’ “Moonrise, Hernandez”, the full moon plays a central role in this picture. The last sunrays, reminding of our alpenglow, light the mountain tops in a way one could think the light is coming from the moon.
