Comment

Since the early 1940s, Siskind repeatedly visitied the the island of Martha's Vineyard, Mas. , USA and found his way to abstraction. In addition to skeletons of wild animals, rock formations were the initial point of his black-and-white photos that also remind of abstract painting.
