The night scene of a road junction (marked by street signs) at the foot of the Bisamberg mountain in Vienna is lighted on the one hand, by the steel-blue night sky and on the other hand, by two street lamps. The formation of snow covered trees reminds of Torii that limit certain, mostly holy places in Japan.
