"Hotel Brighton in Valparaíso, Chile"

On Thursday, February 16, 2017, a plaque was unveiled at the Hotel Brighton in Valparaíso, Chile, in the presence of lrene Schwarz and Michael Michlmayr.
It commemorates the stay of H. H. CAPOR in this hotel.

In the lounge of the hotel hang many paintings with civic subjects such as flowers, landscapes, ballet girls; etc. During my first stay in this hotel in 2015, I missed the photos of famous people. So I ennobled this small, private house with a magnificent view over the bay of Valparaíso with my portrait.
In the form of an intervention in public space, a picture was unhooked in the lounge of the hotel and overleaf picture of me, with text referring to my stay in this hotel, was hung. The hanging was probably discovered later, after we had already departed.
