Isabella Beer's pictures are like a door into the magical realm of world alienation. A rush of happiness when you allow yourself the time to switch off here and there and the clamour for recognition, for money, for success. The world is much, much more colourful, much, much more adventurous than the holiday catalogues and the entire market-shrieking advertising industry would have us believe. The pictures give us a glimpse of another world - an enchanted one.
