"outsideout"

The studio and an artist present in it are caught up by social reality. Film footage of demonstrations/protest marches of various political attitudes towards the refugee issue appears on a blank canvas, spreads out more and more and finally takes possession of the entire space. An intangible network of public and private space/outside and inside is created. Scenes of the demonstration seem for short moments to refer to the artist who herself will become a performer in the filmic world.
Where and in what way can/want to take an artistic position in the field of tension between individual and social issues.
Created during a stay in Paris in summer 2016 - during the (still ongoing) state of emergency and the corresponding measures to protect public order.
