Anna Jermolaewa has found an answer to a question that sounds like a children´s riddle: why is it that quarter-to-three or to five is a better time than four-minutes-to-five? It turns out that some hours of the day offer more comfortable conditions for the pigeons perched on the arrows and the digits marking the hours / minutes on a city clock`s face.
"Good times, bad Times", 2007 consists of three unpretentious photographs that capture a situation from everyday life. These become unexpectedly loaded with additional emotional aspects: the discrete and somewhat mundane occasion has been transformed into a symbolic statement.
