All photographs from this series were taken in the Blue Lagoon. The Blue Lagoon is a complex comprising more than a hundred of different prefabricated houses south from Vienna. In the uninhabited show houses, visitors and interested buyers can find complete and detailed furnished interiors for the purpose of purchase animation. Poses, gestures and postures, signs of intimate privacy, which can be felt by every viewer, are staged in this public home of Robert F. Hammerstiel. The place, which cannot be defined without background information, is irritating because it could also be a real home or a built film set".
The photo series is intended as an examination of the authenticity of places and gestures.
