Probably made for the photo essay "Land of Enchantment", New Mexico in the LIFE magazine (American edition) of 15.9.1952, this picture evokes memories of Golgotha through the cross-shaped electricity pylons and simultaneously captivates the viewer through the close-sighted abstract forms of the road damage and lanes.
