Franz Fiedler
"Narre Tod mein Spielgesell",

Fritz Simak

"WILL lead me now, - I leave you the will, man you, believe to be leader and are the guided."

Franz Fiedler deals here with the only reality of our existence, death. At the same time, Thea Giradelli's quoted preface describes the relationship between the sexes; two essential themes that have lost none of their topicality even after almost a hundred years.
